Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Funeral Slideshow handles information when you use funeralslideshow.org. For privacy requests or questions, contact contact@funeralslideshow.org. It applies to the website, private workspace, uploaded media and service emails.
Information we use
We process your name, email address, securely hashed password credentials, sign-in sessions, project settings, photographs, optional photo capture dates, captions, uploaded music and generated files. We also process limited request and security information to prevent abuse. If Google sign-in is enabled, we receive the basic profile and email information you authorize; we do not receive your Google password.
Why we use it
We use this information to create your slideshow, keep your workspace available, verify your email, recover access, deliver files and answer support requests. Security checks and rate limits protect the service. We do not sell uploaded photographs, publish private projects in a public gallery, or use your uploads to train AI models.
Service providers
Cloudflare provides hosting, private file storage, databases, video rendering, security checks and transactional email. Google provides optional Google sign-in when configured. These providers may process data in countries other than your own under their applicable service terms and safeguards. Public example family images are AI-generated demonstrations; your own uploads are used to render your project.
Seven-day projects
Project access and downloads expire seven days after project creation. Editing or adding photographs does not restart that period. Expired project media and generated files are removed by the scheduled daily cleanup, which may run up to 24 hours after access expires. Removing a photo in the editor hides it immediately; its source remains until project cleanup to allow Undo. Keep your own originals and download any files you need before expiry.
Other records
Account records remain while your account is active or until an applicable deletion request is completed. Authentication sessions expire after seven days. Transactional email delivery logs are retained for seven days. Security rate-limit records are removed after expiry. Support correspondence is kept as needed to resolve your request. If paid services become available, necessary transaction records may be retained for legal, tax or dispute obligations.
Cookies and optional analytics
Essential cookies keep you signed in and associate a draft with your browser. They are necessary for the requested service. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity currently load automatically on public pages. They help us understand visits and interactions through usage statistics, heatmaps and session recordings. Private project and account pages are excluded; You can restrict cookies through your browser settings or block analytics scripts. We do not require optional analytics to make a slideshow.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses of your information. You may also contact your local data-protection authority. Email contact@funeralslideshow.org; we will verify ownership before releasing or deleting private information. We may retain information where required by law or to resolve a legitimate dispute. Do not send passwords or private download tokens.
Children and other people in photos
This service is intended for adults arranging a tribute. Upload only material you have permission to use, and consider the privacy of people shown, including children. Contact us if you believe information has been submitted without appropriate authority.
